I never used to be big on jewellery – I’d occasionally wear a pair of earrings or a pretty necklace if I felt I needed to spruce up my outfit a little but that was about it. However, over the years I’ve realised how much it adds to your personal style and now I can’t leave the house without it! Over the past few months I’ve managed to build up a collection of pieces I love and I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you today.
Olivia Burton is one of my go-to brands – I’d always struggled finding a watch that didn’t overpower my skinny, child-like wrists until I discovered their selection. Their pieces are super dainty and tasteful and they have an extensive range of colours and designs. I’ve been wearing my White Dial Rose Gold Mesh Watch for around a year now and I absolutely adore it. One of my favourite things about it is the colour – I sometimes find rose gold pieces can look a little too pink, but this is perfect!
Olivia Burton also has a gorgeous variety of earrings. I received these Celestial Swirl Hoops for my birthday last year which I wear on a daily basis. I love stacking them with my Orelia Star Drop Huggies (Maria Tash dupes!) and this beautiful Rainbow Cuff from Astrid & Miyu. I’m actually hoping to head to London very soon and visit one of Astrid & Miyu’s studios to get a few more piercings in my ears which I’m really excited about.
Another brand I love is Monica Vinader – her pieces are of such a high quality and are perfect for those who love elegant, minimalist jewellery. I received the Rose Quartz Siren Ring for Christmas and I’ve not taken it off my finger since! I’m planning on treating myself to a few more of her smaller rings soon so I can start stacking them.
On my watch-free wrist I like to wear my Femininity Snowflake bracelet from Greek brand Loisir. It’s quite an unusual piece that I’m often complimented on! I love how well it fits in with my aesthetic (if you haven’t already guessed, if an item’s dainty, gold/rose gold and Celestial inspired; I’m all over it!)
The necklace I always reach for is one of my plainer pieces – it’s a Littlesmith pendant with my name engraved onto it. If you haven’t heard of Littlesmith; they’re a London-based brand who specialise in personalised, lettered jewellery. They’re so reasonably priced and the quality is excellent. The perfect idea for a gift!
