Hi all! I hope you’re well and enjoying your 2022 so far. I’m back today with a very belated round up of all my favourite products from last year. Throughout 2021 I made some amazing beauty discoveries that I’ve been itching to share with you! Let’s get started…
Nars Highlighting Powder in Fort de France. Nars has always been one of my favourite brands for cheek products – they never get it wrong. Fort de France provides the perfect amount of glow without appearing overly glittery. It’s become a staple in my make-up bag.
Natasha Denona Glam Palette. It took a while to get a hold of this due to it constantly being out of stock, but when I finally got my hands on it, boy was it worth the wait! This is my go to palette for bridal parties. It contains the most stunning selection of cool-toned shades and the quality is unmatched – the shadows are buttery, pigmented and blend beautifully. I wouldn’t be without it!
Diptyque Eau Capitale Eau de Parfum. I’ve been a fan of the Diptyque perfumes for some time but only came across Eau Capitale back in the summer. With notes of rose, bergamot and patchouli, it quickly became my signature scent. I read recently that this particular fragrance pays homage to Paris (my favourite city) and the illustrations on the bottle were inspired by Parisian architecture.
Chanel Les Beiges Bronzing Cream. I have no idea why it took so long for me to try this, especially as it’s been on my wish list ever since I first got into make-up! It gives a gorgeous sun-kissed look without appearing too warm/muddy – perfect for fairer skin tones. I love the luxe packaging, too.
Morphe Cream Blush in Sweet Scandal. I’m a huge fan of cream/liquid blushers and at £12 this is a fabulous purse-friendly option. Sweet Scandal is such a flattering shade and is super pigmented – another great product for brides.
Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in JK Magic. This was more of a rediscovery for me as I’ve loved Charlotte Tilbury’s lipsticks for many years. JK Magic has recently found its way back into my daily routine – it’s the most beautiful peachy nude and has a lovely hydrating texture. Not to mention the packaging – as with all Charlotte’s products, it’s definitly one to display on your dressing table!
Morphe Lip Liner in Sweet Tea. This liner is a little dark for me but it’s been an amazing addition to my kit. It’s a total steal at only £4.50 and perfect for creating that contoured 90’s lip.
Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Hair Mask. I’ve been a avid fan of the original Moroccan Oil for several years now but have only recently begun trying other products from the range. I use the Hydrating Mask whenever I feel my hair needs a little TLC and it leaves it feeling healthy, hydrated and smelling amazing!
Charlotte Tilbury Genius Magic Powder. This powder is incredible for those with drier skin. It sets your foundation and takes away any excess shine without leaving your base looking dull and parched. It lasts ages, too!
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand in Peachgasm. This was another rediscovery after Madison Beer broke the internet with her Vogue beauty video. Peachgasm was out of stock for months and for good reason – it’s super easy to use, provides an effortless flush of colour and is universally flattering. A staple in both my kit and personal make-up bag.
Pat McGrath Lust Lip Gloss. A glossy lip is the perfect finishing touch to any makeover. Pat McGrath’s glosses are smooth, hydrating and comfortable to wear. The colours are gorgeous, too.
What were your favourite products from 2021? x
So many great products in there that I’d want to try! The most intriguing for me is Moroccanoil, because I still struggle to find good products for my hair. Thank you for sharing your favourites!
